JONES HONORED AT POWERSOUTH ANNUAL MEETING

ANDALUSIA, ALA.– Ronald Jones of DeFuniak Springs was recognized for his service as Chairman of the PowerSouth Board of Trustees from 2010 to 2011 during PowerSouth’s Annual Meeting on May 28.

Jones has represented CHELCO on PowerSouth’s Board of Trustees since 1997, serving as Secretary-Treasurer and Vice Chairman, as well as on the Nominating, Engineering & Operations, Marketing & Economic Development, Finance & Audit and Executive Committees.

“Mr. Jones has been instrumental in preparing PowerSouth for the future,” said Gary Smith, PowerSouth President and CEO. “Through his service first as a board member and recently as Chairman of the Board, Mr. Jones has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to ensuring the success of PowerSouth and our distribution members well into the future.”

Jones will continue to serve as a board member and on the Executive Committee.
