ANDALUSIA, ALA.– Stacey Parker has been elected to represent the Utilities Board of the City of Opp on the PowerSouth Board of Trustees. Parker’s appointment was approved at PowerSouth’s May 27 board meeting.
Parker, who replaces James Rogers on PowerSouth’s board, serves as Chief Financial Officer of the Utilities Board of the City of Opp. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Troy University.
He serves as Secretary Treasurer for the Opp Utilities Board and Treasurer for the Industrial Development Board of Opp.
“It is a great honor to accept this position,” Parker said. “Working for the City of Opp has been a blessing. The Utilities Board has a capable workforce that is dedicated to meeting the needs of its customers.”
Parker previously served on PowerSouth’s Board of Trustees from 2003 to 2004.
He and his wife, Tracy are members of the First Baptist Church of Enterprise. They have one daughter, Emma.
